Men’s ministry exists to bring together men of all ages to edify and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to encourage each other to be servant leaders in our families, the church, and our community. This takes place through acts of service, Bible studies, and monthly breakfast fellowships.
The first Saturday of every month the men and boys are invited to spend the morning sharing in time of fellowship. The time includes a Bible study that is directed to help build the men up in discipleship in order to be the fathers, husbands, brothers, or friends they need to be to their families and friends. Following this special time of study and devotion is a hearty breakfast prepared by volunteers led by our Fellowship Director Bryan Young. Once sharing the meal with one another then men try to line up a special project that may include pray, visitation, or a special project at a needy neighbor’s home. The time that is spent at the monthly breakfast not only helps fill our appetite for nourishment but also our spiritual appetite.
Priority # 1 – God
The Scriptures tell us plainly that serving God and his plan and design for our life should be our first priority. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
Priority # 2 – Family
God’s command to man and woman after he created them was to “Be fruitful, and multiply”(Genesis 1:28). God designed us as men for marriage and family. We were not designed to live for ourselves, but rather for his purpose and design.

Priority # 3 – The Church
Not all of us can be Pastors, Deacons or Sunday school teachers. But God wants us all to serve his local Church in some capacity. For some their service may be more financial than time based. For others who have little to give financially, they have much more to give in the way of time or talents. But while we all serve God’s Church in different ways, the call to serve God’s Church is for every believer in Christ.
Galatians 6:10New King James Version (NKJV). 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Priority #4 – Work
The Bible tells us as men that we were created to be workers. Our minds and bodies as men are specifically built for work. Some of us men are built for physically based labor while others are built for more intellectually based labor. But no matter our talents and abilities – we as men are built for work.
“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” – Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
